Objective: to solve the problem of capturing the best state of infant chest X-ray photography, to develop an automatic exposure control device for X-ray photography and to improve the exposure timing of infant chest X-ray photography. Methods: an automatic control device based on chest circumference parameter monitoring of infants and young children was studied. Through chest circumference pre-monitoring, the optimal respiratory gating status was identified, and then the photography parameters were set, and then the optimal timing of respiratory gating was automatically selected with the control of the photography hand gate. 120 infants aged 1-3 years old were randomly selected and equally divided into two groups. The traditional experience photography and the automatic photography in this paper were used respectively. Conclusion: the X-ray photography device based on chest and abdomen circumference pre-monitoring to identify the best respiratory gating has good auxiliary effect on infant chest X-ray photography.
