摘要： This work presents a novel multimodal dataset to address maturity and quality assessment in Radish ( Raphanus sativus). The analyzed dataset includes 360 images taken from five samples of radish that were photographed at three points—morning, afternoon, and evening on 24 subsequent days. Since the imaging process was intended to capture the visual growth in the presence of natural light, it offered a temporal resolution to the dataset. Consistent photos were taken each time to track the changes in texture, shape, and color of each sample. Besides the image data, this dataset contains comprehensive quality assessment records, where each radish sample's texture, shape, color, and overall appearance were scored between 1 and 10. These ratings were done based on just observations and touch sensations in an attempt to quantify some of the physical characteristics of the radish as it grew to maturity. Specific data needs are documented in an Excel file that incorporates timestamps, sample I.D.s, and ratings for each parameter for easy reference and to facilitate examination. It creates a platform to examine the relationship between environmental conditions and radish growth phases to apply machine learning algorithms and computer vision to evaluate the maturity and qualities of agricultural crops. This dataset may be useful for increasing the forecast accuracy of precision farming and for a better understanding of the dynamics of radish development. 摘要： This study analyzed the longitudinal data of Indiana high school students' Computer Science (CS) enrollments from 2014 to 2020. The result showed while Indiana CS enrollments have increased in recent years, gaps in participation by minoritized student populations have still been observed. The CS enrollment rates in terms of different student populations including gender, ethnicities, locales, and economic status have been increasing, and the disparities according to these demographic profiles have been somewhat alleviated. However, the degrees of inequity varied by classification. Female underrepresentation was found to be largest followed by rural and town residents, then economically disadvantaged, and then ethnic minorities in CS education (Black, Hispanic, and Multiracial). These findings indicate where our future efforts should be concentrated.

摘要： This paper reviews published research in the field of computer-aided colorization technology. We argue that the colorization task originates from computer graphics, prospers by introducing computer vision, and tends to the fusion of vision and graphics, so we put forward our taxonomy and organize the whole paper chronologically. We extend the existing reconstruction-based colorization evaluation techniques, considering that aesthetic assessment of colored images should be introduced to ensure that colorization satisfies human visual-related requirements and emotions more closely. We perform the colorization aesthetic assessment on seven representative unconditional colorization models and discuss the difference between our assessment and the existing reconstruction-based metrics. Finally, this paper identifies unresolved issues and proposes fruitful areas for future research and development. 摘要： 20世纪80年代以来,学界对中国历史上以农业为主线的开发方式及其过程的评价多偏向负面,侯甬坚教授将其概括为“环境破坏论”,并对此观点展开了学术评议。侯甬坚教授对“环境破坏论”的反思及其提出“人类家园营造”的研究旨趣,是关于中国环境史研究的深刻思考,体现了跨学科知识体系和研究视角的创新与推进。他从人民的生存权和发展权出发,重新反思农业开发与环境之间关系的历史认识和评价标准。他提出要立足于中国农业文明的历史实践,精准把握人与自然关系史中“优化”的事例,构建具有中国特色的环境史认识和阐释的话语体系,在学术实践中不断深化对人与自然关系的认识,体现其学术研究对至真、至善、至美的追求。

摘要： Since their introduction, large language model (LLM) services have been widely used in our society, including the computer science education area. While this technology provides various types of intelligent assistance to users, its capabilities and impact on computer science education regarding students' learning need further study. In this paper, we present our manual assessment of LLM services' ability to solve questions in various course assignments and projects in our computer science curriculum. Based on the result of the study, we provide our observations of the extent of LLM services' impact on different computer science disciplines. Suggestions are summarized and offered to computer science instructors on the possible strategies for dealing with LLMs in current and future computer science curriculum designs.

摘要： 随着信息技术的飞速发展,计算机专业在各个领域都发挥着至关重要的作用。在工程教育领域,专业认证已成为衡量专业教育质量的重要标准。基于工程教育专业认证来对计算机专业基础类学科进行改革,能够确保学科教学内容与行业需求紧密结合,提升学生解决复杂工程问题的能力,进而培养出符合社会发展需求的高素质计算机专业人才。对此,本文通过分析计算机专业基础类学科的主要问题,进而探讨基于工程教育专业认证的计算机导论课程改革的实施,以期为相关人员提供参考和依据。

摘要： In this research, the effects of various teaching methodologies such as solo teaching, parallel coordinated teaching (PCT), and sequential teaching (SEQT) on student perceptions in a third-year programming language course at Boston University (BU) are studied. PCT and SEQT, as variants of co-teaching, contrast with the independent approach of solo teaching. This research uses student evaluation data to analyze eight distinct evaluative questions, including areas such as fairness in grading, stimulation of student's interest in the course material, and overall instructor ratings. These eight questions are analyzed using student course evaluations across the three aforementioned teaching methodologies to determine if there are statistically significant differences in perceptions. The results show that consistent instructor presence throughout the semester, as seen in solo teaching and PCT scenarios, significantly enhances student perceptions of fairness and overall satisfaction. In contrast, SEQT, which involves instructor changes in the middle of the semester, is associated with less favorable student evaluations. The study highlights the importance of instructor consistency and the potential disruptions caused by changing instructors mid-course.

摘要： Feeling a sense of belonging is an essential human need that, when met, is associated with positive outcomes [1]. Academic belonging is defined by Lewis et al as the extent to which students subjectively perceive that they are valued, accepted, and legitimate members in their academic domain [2], and a sense of academic belonging in a course has been consistently linked to engagement in STEM coursework [3].Faculty members will share assignments and activities that they use to foster a sense of belonging in their computer science courses. Each panelist will provide an overview of the activity or assignment, its goal(s) or learning objective(s), and any outcomes and observations. 摘要： 近年来,随着国家对创新创业教育的重视,越来越多的高校在专业建设、专业课程教学中进行了基于“专创融合”理念的探索与实践。在地方高校计算机专业中,计算机专业理论课程教学是专业人才培养的重要环节,目前仍然缺乏基于“专创融合”理念的这类课程教学改革方案。为了更好地在这类课程教学中开展创新创业教育活动、培养学生的创新创业能力,促进课程教学质量的提升,文章提出基于“专创融合”理念的计算机专业理论课程教学改革路径,为地方高校的理论课程教学改革提供参考。

摘要： 在信息化时代,计算机科学与技术专业对人才的需求不断多样化,传统的统一教学模式已无法满足行业对计算机人才的差异化需求;同时在专升本学生的培养过程中,面临着学生基础参差不齐、前置专业差异大等问题,对这些学生使用相同的培养方式更无法满足学生的个性化需求。本文提出一种基于分层分类的计算机科学与技术专业培养模式,通过对学生进行能力和方向上的分层分类,以实现个性化和专业化的教育培养方案。本文以行业需求为导向,分析分层分类模式的设计、实施步骤及其优势,以期为高校计算机专业教学改革提供参考。
