摘要： Introduction: This study evaluates the feasibility of culturing the high-value marine fish Protonibea diacanthus in a polyculture system with Indian pompano (Trachinotus mookalee) using a marine cage culture setup. The study aims to determine growth performance, feed efficiency, and the potential of P. diacanthus as a candidate species for polyculture. Methods: Wild-caught P. diacanthus were reared in six high-density polyethylene sea cages (Inner Diameter: 6 m;Outer Diameter: 7 m;Depth: 4.5 m;Area: 28.29 m(2);Volume: 127.29 m(3)). Two experimental groups were established: Group-1 with 90 individuals (average weight: 130.15 +/- 6.39 g) and Group-2 with 90 individuals (average weight: 287.80 +/- 16.90 g). Each group was divided into three cages (30 fish/cage) and reared in triplicate with T. mookalee (2,500 fish/cage, average weight: 31.12 +/- 1.17 g). The fish were cultured for 148 days and fed a commercial diet (40% crude protein, 10% crude lipid). Growth indices and feed efficiency indices were analyzed, and growth of the fish was modeled using von Bertalanffy Growth Function (VBGF). Results: Growth performance indices, including total length gain, body weight gain, and specific growth rate, were significantly higher in Group-1 (P <= 0.05). Feed efficiency indices (feed conversion ratio, feed efficiency ratio, and protein efficiency ratio) did not differ significantly between the groups (P > 0.05). VBGF modeling estimated P. diacanthus asymptotic length (L-infinity) at 164.21 +/- 3.58 cm, asymptotic weight (W-infinity) at 44,070.19 +/- 2811 g, growth coefficient (K) at 0.30 +/- 0.01 yr(-1) and t(0) at -0.005 +/- 0.02 yr. The growth performance index (phi') was calculated at 1.91, surpassing values reported for wild populations. Polyculture with P. diacanthus did not significantly affect the growth or feed utilization of T. mookalee (P > 0.05). 摘要： Unlike other fields of biology, neuroscience and the study of the nervous system across a range of 19 species were characterized early on by the need for the analysis of highly complex data sets. In seminal 20 areas of neuroscience, such as electrophysiology, neuroimaging, and neurophysiology, progress in both 21 data acquisition and data analysis was limited by the capabilities of hardware and software solutions 22 available to researchers. 摘要： The goal of our work is to explore and highlight factors that contribute to positive experiences of Black employees. To accomplish this, we integrate behavioral ethics research into the Black scholarship literature. Specifically, we focus on the role of ethical leadership. We leverage signaling theory to explain the Black cultural implications associated with ethical leadership and how ethical leaders create racially just workplaces. Across three studies (i.e., one cross-sectional field study and two experimental vignettes), we demonstrate that ethical leadership operates as a welcoming signal for Black employees, which positively impacts Black employees' evaluations of psychological diversity climate. By cultivating Black employees' evaluations of psychological diversity climate, Black employees are more likely to be engaged and are less likely to be ostracized in the workplace, which are key indicators of a racially just workplace. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed. We conclude with limitations and future research ideas.

摘要： In real-world networks, such as social networks, the occurrence of random failures or external attacks on network components can lead to the discontinuation of information flow in the network. Hence, ensuring the existence and robustness of these networks is a crucial concern these days. To address this problem, one possible solution is to redesign the connection between individual nodes in the network using some budget-constrained rewiring operations. Multiple rewiring operations help in building trust between individuals and strengthening their connections, further enhancing overall connectivity and information flow in the network. The effectiveness of rewiring approaches is determined by analyzing some important facts, such as the rewiring cost, adherence to budget constraints, and enhancement in network connectivity. To assess the efficacy of rewiring approaches, the rewiring cost has been regularly updated after each rewiring operation by measuring the evolution of the size of the giant component in the social network. The performance of the proposed budget-constrained rewiring approaches is evaluated against the random rewiring approach. The results show the superiority of the proposed approaches on the benchmark real-world dataset. By leveraging these budget-constrained rewiring approaches, it becomes possible to design social systems that exhibit enhanced stability and reliability of social networks in the face of various disruptions.

摘要： Background The emergence of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) presents unprecedented opportunities to redefine conceptions of personhood and cognitive disability, potentially enhancing the inclusion and participation of individuals with cognitive disabilities in society. Objective We aim to explore the transformative potential of GenAI in reshaping perceptions of cognitive disability, dismantling societal barriers, and promoting social participation for individuals with cognitive disabilities. Methods This study is a critical review of current literature in disability studies, artificial intelligence (AI) ethics, and computer science, integrating insights from disability theories and the philosophy of technology. The analysis focused on 2 key aspects: GenAI as a social mirror reflecting societal values and biases, and GenAI as a cognitive partner for individuals with cognitive disabilities. Results This paper proposes a theoretical framework for understanding the impact of GenAI on perceptions of cognitive disability. It introduces the concepts of GenAI as a “social mirror” that reflects and potentially amplifies societal biases and as a “cognitive copilot” providing personalized assistance in daily tasks, social interactions, and environmental navigation. This paper also presents a novel protocol for developing AI systems tailored to the needs of individuals with cognitive disabilities, emphasizing user involvement, ethical considerations, and the need to address both the opportunities and challenges posed by GenAI. Conclusions Although GenAI has great potential for promoting the inclusion and empowerment of individuals with cognitive disabilities, realizing this potential requires a change in societal attitudes and development practices. 摘要： Over the previous 20 years, the software development industry has overseen an evolution in application of Version Control Systems (VCS) from a Centralized Version Control System (CVCS) format to a Decentralized Version Control Format (DVCS). Examples of the former include Perforce and Subversion whilst the latter of the two include GitHub and BitBucket. As DVCS models allow software contributors to maintain their respective local repositories of relevant code bases, developers are able to work offline and maintain their work with relative fault tolerance. This contrasts to CVCS models, which require software contributors to be connected online to a main server. Given this expansion in capabilities of productivity under the DVCS model, the Open-Source Software (OSS) development scene has transformed accordingly by moving to a DVCS system from the previous CVCS one. Previous work has shown that security breaches and bugs existing on any given application are patched more efficiently, albeit with occasional latency. Accordingly, many software development businesses in the contemporary industry require potential applicants to have knowledge of a VCS model of some sort for employment, with preference given to a DVCS model. Despite this necessity, many universities, including Murray State University, fail to introduce their students to any VCS system until the last year of their undergraduate experience in Computer Science during their work throughout their senior capstone project. Additionally, many students do not apply a VCS model until their senior capstone project as well. Preliminary review of articles written by major Github contributors supports that students who are permitted to conduct academic work on assignments within the Computer Science profession in their earlier years will likely have greater engagement with VCS products. 摘要： 在养殖美洲鳗鲡黑仔鳗的饲料中添加低聚壳聚糖小肽复合制剂35 g·kg^(-1),以未添加为对照,在水温25~29℃条件下饲喂60 d,研究低聚壳聚糖小肽复合制剂对美洲鳗鲡黑仔鳗的生长性能、免疫能力以及肠道健康的影响。结果表明:与对照组相比,低聚壳聚糖小肽复合制剂能显著提高美洲鳗鲡黑仔鳗的平均体质量相对增长率、平均体质量特定增长率和平均饲料转化率(P<0.05),对日摄食率、平均肝体比、平均脏体比、平均肥满度影响不显著(P>0.05),对消化道α-淀粉酶和脂肪酶的酶活性影响不显著(P>0.05),对肝脏和肠道总超氧化物歧化酶、过氧化氢酶、总抗氧化能力和丙二醛等抗氧化指标影响不显著(P>0.05),对血浆中的补体C3、免疫球蛋白M、溶菌酶、酸性磷酸酶、碱性磷酸酶和总抗氧化能力指标影响不显著(P>0.05),能显著提高中肠肠绒毛高度、隐窝深度、黏膜厚度、肌层厚度(P<0.05)。低聚壳聚糖小肽复合制剂对美洲鳗鲡黑仔鳗的生长、肠道健康和营养物质消化吸收具有显著的促进作用。

摘要： 数字化时代,游戏正逐渐代替影视成为大众文化的一个占主导地位的媒介,从而在文化的全球传播中扮演越来越重要的角色。《黑神话:悟空》以现代的表达方式,将中国传统文化带入公众视野,迅速引发了社交媒体、文化产业、行业市场的广泛关注,制造了积极的经济和文化现象。不同媒介中的文学资源、文化符号和叙事风格被运用到数字游戏这一平台中,造就了这个规模宏大的跨媒介巨制。借由主支线设置、过场动画以及影神图等,游戏作品拟仿《西游记》原著所具有的章回体、散韵相间、说书人介入、多线叙事等文学特征,赋予古典诗学新的时代价值。现实世界中的自然与人文景观,经由中国艺术观念与技巧的创造性运用,在游戏的次级世界中得到重构,使得玩家感受到中华文化底蕴以及奇幻东方色彩。而汇聚不同媒介创作的故事世界在数字游戏这一平台中生成了具有集体意识和道德责任感的新英雄形象,以此挑战全球化浪潮中盛行的个人主义。《黑神话:悟空》在跨媒介生产与传播上已经取得了轰动效应,为新时代知识生产、文化产业以及中国文化全球传播提供了有价值的示范。
