摘要： While mobile apps often need to transmit sensitive information out to support various functionalities, they may also abuse the privilege by leaking the data to unauthorized third parties. This makes us question: Is the given transmission required to fulfill the app functionality? In this paper, we make the first attempt to automatically identify suspicious transmissions from app visual interfaces, including app names, descriptions, and user interfaces. We design and implement a novel framework called FlowIntent to detect nonfunctional transmissions at both software and network levels. During the exercising of the given apps, FlowIntent automatically detects privacy-sharing transmissions and determines their purposes by utilizing the fact that mobile users rely on visible app interface to perceive the functionality of the app at certain context. The characterizations of nonfunctional network traffic are then summarized to provide network level protection. FlowIntent not only reduces the false alarms caused by traditional taint analysis, but also captures the sensitive transmissions missed by widely-used taint analysis system TaintDroid. Evaluation using 2125 sharing flows collected from more than a thousand running instances shows that our approach achieves about 94 percent accuracy in detecting nonfunctional transmissions.

摘要： 如何高效地实现人才培养模式转型是新工科人才培养理念落地的关键。本文设计了以项目为中心的计算机科学与技术专业人才培养模式,具体体现为以项目实践为载体完成"知识—能力—素质"同步培养以及"校企深度合作"与"项目式实践教学平台"相结合的新人才培养模式,并在北京科技大学进行了人才培养实践,大幅提升了毕业生竞争力。教学改革成果被应用到百余所高校,形成了显著的成果辐射效应。

摘要： Identifying key structures from social networks that aims to discover hidden patterns and extract valuable information is an essential task in the network analysis realm. These different structure detection tasks can be integrated naturally owing to the topological nature of key structures. However, identifying key network structures in most studies has been performed independently, leading to huge computational overheads. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a novel approach for handling key structures identification tasks simultaneously under the unified Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) framework. Specifically, we first implement the FCA-based representation of a social network and then generate the fine-grained knowledge representation, namely concept. Then, an efficient concept interestingness calculation algorithm suitable for social network scenarios is proposed. Next, we then leverage concept interestingness to quantify the hidden relations between concepts and network structures. Finally, an efficient algorithm for jointly key structures detection is developed based on constructed mapping relations. Extensive experiments conducted on real-world networks demonstrate that the efficiency and effectiveness of our proposed approach.

摘要： This panel of presenters, with over 80 years of teaching instruction between them, will share with attendees a variety of actual tools, toys, and/or visuals that have helped students understand concepts in the programming sequence, i.e. CS 1, CS 2, CS 7 (algorithms) classes. These are based on moments in the classroom when students have reported that new or difficult concepts were made easier to learn.

摘要： The foundational aspects of computer science are usually explained with mathematical models such as Finite Automata (FA), Pushdown Automata (PDA) and Turing Machines (TMs). Challenges of teaching mathematical foundations can be overcome with innovative approaches and agile planning. For undergraduate students, teachers should start with a general overview of the area so that students get the big picture and become interested in learning more about foundational ideas and their relationships. Active participation of students should be encouraged from the beginning when the basic ideas are introduced. At the initial stages, proof ideas need to be emphasized which may be followed by rigorous mathematical proofs when students fully understand the intuitive ideas behind the proof.

摘要： 关于游戏和学习之间的关系,向来存在着两个针锋相对的立场。大众舆论对游戏的负面效应口诛笔伐,但新兴的游戏化学习潮流又将游戏奉为学习的真正未来。本文不拟对二者进行仓促的论断,而是首先试图回归哲学史上对于游戏的精神性界定,再由此反思、衡量游戏化学习的利弊得失。游戏化虽然全方位提升了学习的环境和体验,但“重外而轻内”这个根本症结使得它无法真正实现李普曼所追寻的儿童哲学的终极理念,也即引导孩子们对自身的生存意义进行主动积极的探寻。元宇宙的到来似乎实现了这一变革的契机。一方面,它极大地克服了游戏化平台的种种缺陷,进而将哲学化生存和游戏化学习密切地结合在一起,真正敞开了以一种哲学为核心来重构教育的可能途径。但另一方面,元宇宙又并非完美无缺;正相反,升级的监控、人的全面数据化,乃至“媒介被动性”的不平等状态,这些都是摆在未来儿童哲学教育者面前的问题和挑战。

摘要： Female students are underrepresented in Computer Science degree programs at US colleges. This problem has resisted interventions for decades and average enrollment rates are stubbornly hovering around 18%, several success stories at selected institutions notwithstanding. Solutions to this problem require bringing in more female students and once enrolled keeping them in the program. To achieve the latter, improvements have been attempted at the curricular and pedagogical level on one hand, and on the social and community building level on the other. This paper describes a low cost approach to building a sense of community and belonging by making a Women in Computing club more "official" using a "token of belonging." Membership is made more rewarding by the promise of a conference trip

摘要： 通过调研绥棱黑陶技艺的发展现状及制作流程,探索绥棱黑陶创新设计趋向。运用文化探析与CMF设计方法,传达寒地文化内涵与意蕴,并开展创新设计探索。利用对色彩、材料、工艺的设计转译手段,突破传统技艺的不足与限制,并以案例的形式验证其可行性,为绥棱黑陶的可持续传承与发展提供参考和依据。

摘要： In this study, we designed, implemented and assessed the integration of cloud computing education and public cloud services into introductory database courses. This is the pilot study for a curricular initiative that integrates cloud computing into core courses across computer science curriculum at a liberal arts college. Direct and indirect evidence show that it is feasible to integrate cloud computing basics into an existing course without impacting students' learning experience and curricular coverage and, given the current billing model, $50 Google cloud credits are enough for four hands-on course activities, but not enough to support students to continue their class projects after class. The paper also discusses cost involved, students' evaluation of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), students' perception of cloud computing, and difficulties encountered and lessons learned in the process.
