摘要： In this paper, we provide an overview of effective EM-like learning algorithms for latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) models and additively regularized topic models (ARTMs). First, we review 11 techniques for efficient topic modeling based on synchronous and asynchronous parallel computing, distributed data storage, streaming, batch processing, RAM optimization, and fault tolerance improvement. Second, we review 14 effective implementations of topic modeling algorithms proposed in the literature over the past 10 years that use different combinations of the techniques mentioned above. Their comparative analysis is carried out.

[...]we address the dynamic flight planning problem for controlling a swarm of UAVs to accurately surveil a specific area and respond to non-periodic events such as intruder detection, network outage and imminent collision with an obstacle. On top of that, the visual markers technique can also be combined with inertial information. Because of its accuracy, visual navigation using markers is also used for addressing autonomous UAV landing [21, 48], allowing the UAV camera to recognize a known visual pattern to locate the landing area, and perform fine-tuning control to land over it. 摘要： Scientific collaborations have made important contributions to the scientific community. Various institutions have considered publications made by various authors as a fundamental element of the allocation of material and economic resources. Alliances between researchers can be arranged through the establishment of one or more agreements between their institutions. In this work, a methodology is proposed in which graphs are generated to identify four types of scientific collaborations: at the institutional level, at the international level, as part of an agreement, and outside of any agreement. We validated our approach by evaluating the production of an important higher educational institution in the southeast of Mexico, based on papers in Scopus published between 2016 and 2019. Information from 900 publications was retrieved, from which we identified 109 professors with high productivity who collaborated frequently at the institutional level, and 25 countries in which collaborations with the evaluated institution had been arranged. Moreover, 366 publications arose from at least one agreement, and of the remaining 534 publications, eight institutions were detected that were participating in constant collaborative work, meaning that new agreements could be generated.

摘要： Artificial intelligence is one of the most trending topics in the field of Computer Science which aims to make machines and computers 'smart'. There are multiple diverse technical and specialized research associated with it. Due to the accelerating rate of technological changes, artificial intelligence has taken over a lot of human jobs and is giving excellent results that are more efficient and effective, than humans. However, a lot of time there has been a concern about the following: will artificial intelligence surpass human intelligence in the near future? Are computers' ever accelerating abilities to outpace human jobs and skills a matter of concern? The different views and myths on the subject have made it even a more than just a topic of discussion. In this research paper, we will study the existing facts and literature to understand the true definitions of artificial intelligence (AI) and human intelligence (HI) by classifying each of its types separately and analyzing the extent of their full capabilities. Later, we will discuss the possibilities if AI eventually can replace human jobs in the market. Finally, we will synthesize and summarize results and findings of why artificial intelligence cannot surpass human intelligence completely in the future.

摘要： Computer Science education (CSed) often aims to position youth as designers, creators, and those with a voice in their world. But do youth have opportunities to design, create, and have voice around the shape of their CSed learning experiences? In this study, we explore ways that school districts engage youth to contribute to the shaping and enactment of their CS instructional systems, efforts districts make to have these leadership roles create impact within these systems, and the tensions associated with these processes. Through in depth analysis of five district case studies, our findings highlight variance around the nature of leadership roles, how access to leadership roles is structured, student autonomy within and ownership over leadership roles, how roles reach into and index differential power over instructional systems, and how district processes of scaffolding and infrastructuring mediate the ultimate impact that students in these roles are able to have on CS instructional systems. Findings also surfaced ways that district actors dealt with a number of tensions associated with student leadership within CS instructional systems. This study provides educators, administrators, and researchers with an expansive view of the potential for students to play legitimate roles within the context of system-wide instructional efforts around CS, and aims to expand conceptions of 'equitable computer science'-up to this point largely conceived of through the lenses of access to, participation in, and experiences of CS learning-to focus on equity as also being about who has 'a seat at the table' when it comes to CS.

摘要： Zusammenfassung Die iteratec GmbH gehört heute, 25 Jahre nach ihrer Gründung, zu den führenden Experten für digitale Produktinnovation, Softwareentwicklung und digitale Infrastruktur. Der Beitrag beschreibt aus Sicht der beiden Gründer Mark Goerke und Klaus Eberhardt, wie aus dem Ziel, durch iterative Softwareentwicklung bestehende Herausforderungen in IT-Projekten zu überwinden, ein Unternehmen mit 500 Mitarbeiter*innen an 7 Standorten in Deutschland, Österreich und Polen entstanden ist – und warum Wachstum an sich dabei allerdings niemals ein erklärtes Ziel war. Neben Erfolgsfaktoren und Herausforderungen der frühen Gründungsjahre, werden dabei auch zentrale Meilensteine der Unternehmensgeschichte, wie etwa die Gründung einer Genossenschaft, sowie aktuelle Perspektiven auf Themen wie Mitarbeitergewinnung und -partizipation beleuchtet.

摘要： Programming learning has become an essential literacy for computer science (CS) and non-CS students in the digital age. Researchers have addressed that students' conceptions of learning influence their approaches to learning, and thus impact their learning outcomes. Therefore, we aimed to uncover students' conceptions of programming learning (CoPL) and approaches to programming learning (APL), and analyzed the differences between CS and non-CS students. Phenomenographic analysis was adopted to analyze 31 college students (20 CS-related, and 11 not) from northern Taiwan. Results revealed six categories of CoPL hierarchically: 1. memorizing concepts, logic, and syntax, 2. computing and practicing programming writing, 3. expressing programmers' ideas and relieving pressure, 4. applying and understanding, 5. increasing one's knowledge and improving one's competence, and 6. seeing in a new way. Four categories of APL were also found, namely: 1. copying from the textbook, teachers, or others, 2. rote memory, 3. multiple exploration attempts, and 4. online or offline community interactions. Furthermore, we found that most CS students held higher level CoPL (e.g., seeing in a new way) than non-CS students. However, compared with non-CS students, CS students adopted more surface approaches to learning programming, such as copying and rote memory. Implications are discussed.

摘要： Motivation is an essential element in the learning process. In computer-based tutoring environments, motivational components are as significant as cognitive ones. Previous work established that automatic affective feedback improves student motivation when he/she uses Tutoring Systems. Also, prior work examines the relationship between student's motivation to learn and personality traits, but only from a partial point of view. The present study analyzes whole personality traits on motivation to learn by students using a Tutoring System. The work involved 30 undergraduate students in a qualitative experiment. The authors examined the results using Chi(2) to determine the relationship between motivation to use the system and personality;a Naive Bayes classifier was applied. The findings suggested that Neuroticism is a factor that influences student's motivation to use the tutoring system. Also, the Naive Bayes algorithm reaches an accuracy of 90% for the classification.
