摘要： 新工科建设赋予了高等教育由精英教育向大众教育转型的新内涵,地方本科院校在人才培养模式面临诸多挑战。地方本科院校要服务区域市场需求,结合自身办学现状,明确培养目标,主动求变,推动人才培养高质量发展。以计算机科学与技术专业为例,从理论课程教学体系、实践教学体系、师资队伍建设、多方位协同育人机制、质量保障体系进行了探索并取得一定的实效。

摘要： 专业综合课程设计是计算机科学与技术专业的一门实践性课程,文章以智能门铃系统的设计为例,通过将智能门铃的设计案例引入专业综合课程设计的实践教学,可以提高专业实践课程教学效果,促进计算机科学与技术专业的建设发展。

摘要： Autonomous traffic control systems are large-scale systems with critical goals. To satisfy expected properties, these systems adapt themselves to possible changes in their environment and in the system itself. The adaptation may result in further changes propagated throughout the system. For each change and its consequent adaptation, assuring the satisfaction of properties of the system at runtime is important. A prominent approach to assure the correct behavior of these systems is verification at runtime, which has strict time and memory limitations. To tackle these limitations, we propose Magnifier, an iterative, incremental, and compositional verification approach that operates on an actor-based model where actors are grouped in components, and components are augmented with a coordinator. The Magnifier idea is zooming on the area (component) affected by a change and verifying the correctness of properties of interest of the system after adapting the component to the change. Magnifier checks if the change is propagating, and if that is the case, then it zooms out to perform adaptation on a larger area to contain the change. The process is iterative and incremental, and considers areas affected by the change one by one. In Magnifier, we use the Coordinated Adaptive Actor model (CoodAA) for traffic control systems. We present a formal semantics for CoodAA as a network of Timed Input-Output Automata (TIOAs), and prove the correctness of our compositional reasoning. We implement our approach in Ptolemy II. The results of our experiments indicate that the proposed approach improves the verification time and the memory consumption compared to the non-compositional approach.

摘要： Object-oriented programming (OOP) is not only an integral part of computing degrees but also a requirement in non-computing majors such as engineering. Understanding OOP concepts can be difficult for novice programmers, and often leads to the development of misconceptions. This is exacerbated when the discipline requires students to learn a technical low-level language such as C++, as is the case in many engineering disciplines. We propose a block-based programming language extension, Blockly-OOP, to help students learn core OOP concepts without the technical complexities associated with traditional textual languages. The Blockly-OOP Learning Environment was developed by integrating Blockly-OOP with learning activities that guide students through programming exercises that target popular OOP misconceptions. An evaluation (n = 238) in a second-year programming course (CS2) showed that a block-based programming language helps students improve their understanding of object-oriented concepts, warranting further research in this area.

摘要： 以偶氮染料活性黑5作为目标污染物,在静置培养条件下,驯化能够脱色降解活性黑5的混合菌群。通过改变不同环境条件,包括pH值、初始染料浓度、碳源,分析混合菌群对活性黑5的脱色效果差异性。实验结果表明,与偏酸性、中性条件相比,偏碱性条件更有利于混合菌群对活性黑5的脱色作用;随着初始染料浓度的增加,混合菌群脱色率逐渐降低;当pH为9时,在不同碳源作用下,混合菌群对活性黑5的脱色率均可达到90%左右。因此,该混合菌群对偶氮染料具有较好的脱色潜力。

摘要： In this article, we study the evolution of the computer science research community over the past 30 years. Analyzing data from the full Scopus database, we investigate how aspects such as the community size, gender composition, and academic seniority of its members changed over time. We also shed light on the varying popularity of specific research areas, as derived from the ACM's Special Interest Groups and IEEE classifications. Our analysis spans 19 nations (all members of the G20 group, excluding the EU) and involves a total of 728,374 authors and 8,412,543 publications. This work shows that the overall size of the computer science community has increased by a factor of ten in the time period 1991-2020, with China and India enjoying the highest growth. At the same time, this increase has not been uniform across research areas. Female participation has also increased, but more slowly than expected and not uniformly across countries and areas.

摘要： In modern solid-state drives (SSDs), a flash translation layer (FTL) is the core engine performing the logical-to-physical address translations. However, the increasing capacity of SSDs requires a large DRAM space to hold the mapping table in a page-level FTL. Due to the limited size of built-in DRAM, existing FTL schemes selectively cache some active mapping entries in DRAM, while store the entire mapping table on flash. However, the low cache hit ratio introduced by the traditional mapping entry eviction policy degrades the access performance of SSDs. In this article, we propose a novel FTL, hot-clusterity FTL (HCFTL), to improve the hit ratio of cached mapping table (CMT) of SSDs with limited cache space. HCFTL clusters mapping entries, which are newly evicted from the cache, into dynamic translation pages (DTPs). Reading entries from DTPs will increase the CMT hit ratio due to spatial and temporal localities. Because the logical page numbers (LPNs) in a DTP are not consecutive, we introduce two different efficient index structures to speedup the lookup of mapping entries in DTPs. Furthermore, to make the DTP index highly accurate, we additionally allocate an auxiliary cache to buffer the mapping entries newly evicted from CMT, and produce dynamic pages with minimum difference between the maximal and the minimal LPNs of entries in those pages. Our experiments show that HCFTL can improve the CMT hit ratio by up to 41.1% and decrease the system response time by up to 33.3%, compared to baseline FTL schemes.

摘要： Contribution: Demonstrates how to use experiential learning (EL) to improve argumentative writing. Presents the design and development of a natural language processing (NLP) application for aiding instructors in providing feedback on student essays. Discusses how EL combined with automated support provides an analytical approach to improving written-communication skills. Background: High-quality, timely, feedback is an effective way to improve students' writing. However, large class sizes and limited instructor backgrounds often make formative feedback impossible. Recent trends, including lowering entry requirements, have added to these challenges. Assistive technologies for implementing inclusive education provide viable solutions. Research Questions: 1) How and why can EL be used to develop argumentative writing skills in university STEM students? 2) How can technologies be developed to support using EL in teaching writing? and 3) How might the holistic impact of using such analytic techniques be evaluated? Methodology: Participants in an EL project were assigned two essays in sequence. They were given instructions on making good arguments and shown how to use an analytic rubric to maximize their scores. The essays were hand scored by tutors who provided scores for each dimension of the rubric. Subsequently, the content and argumentation of the essays were analyzed using NLP techniques to obtain independent scores. Qualitative data were also collected. Findings: The project produced transformative writing experiences for the participants. It showed how analytical techniques help improve writing skills and how relevant automated instructor assistance can be developed using NLP technologies.
