摘要： “新工科”建设对高校工程科技人才的培养提出了更高的要求,地方高校应对自身进行准确定位,从而积极推进教育教学改革,进而充分利用地方特有资源满足新经济形态下企业对的人才需求。在此背景下,文章对地方高校计算机类专业人才培养模式中存在的问题进行了研究,提出了以生为本、成果导向等计算机类专业人才培养方案的优化思路。

摘要： This brief proposes a game-theoretic inverse reinforcement learning (GT-IRL) framework, which aims to learn the parameters in both the dynamic system and individual cost function of multistage games from demonstrated trajectories. Different from the probabilistic approaches in computer science community and residual minimization solutions in control community, our framework addresses the problem in a deterministic setting by differentiating Pontryagin's maximum principle (PMP) equations of open-loop Nash equilibrium (OLNE), which is inspired by Jin et al. (2020). The differentiated equations for a multi-player nonzero-sum multistage game are shown to be equivalent to the PMP equations for another affine-quadratic nonzero-sum multistage game and can be solved by some explicit recursions. A similar result is established for two-player zero-sum games. Simulation examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithms.

摘要： This article describes a series of courses in the MS program in Software Management at Carnegie Mellon's Silicon Valley campus, emphasizing aspects of the courses related to product definition and product strategy. Students identify product ideas and form teams around their ideas.

摘要： This review essay considers Alejandro de la Fuente and Ariela J. Gross's Becoming Free, Becoming Black (2020);Laura F. Edwards's The People and Their Peace (2009);Ariela J. Gross's Double Character ([2000] 2006);Martha S. Jones's Birthright Citizens (2018);Kelly M. Kennington's In the Shadow of Dred Scott (2017);and Kimberly M. Welch's Black Litigants in the Antebellum South (2018), arguing that one important implication of these works is that the roots of post-Reconstruction Black legal culture can be found during the antebellum period. The essay synthesizes the insights of these works regarding legal culture, legal consciousness, vernacular legal education, and legal networking. It concludes that, for students of Black legal culture and litigation for and by Black people beyond Reconstruction (that is, Jim Crow), examining the historiography of antebellum litigation for and by Black people is an important starting point in advanced discussions about Black legal culture.

摘要： This study explores the direction and magnitude of racial disparities on three advanced placement (AP) computer science (CS) exams, namely AP CS Principles, AP CS A, and AP CS AB, based on the test scores of more than one million students who have taken AP CS exams between 1997 and 2020. Using Mann-Kendall test and Sen's slope procedures we found that the number of Black, Hispanic, and Native American students in AP CS exams have increased steadily and significantly over years, yet they are still far from reaching parity. Further, our findings suggest that the racial disparities among top achievers are very wide. The results provide educators and researchers support for identifying and quantifying the racial disparities in advanced academic programs and may inform the development of policies, practices, and programs to reduce racial disparities in pre-college CS education and further.

摘要： The past several decades have seen enormous growth in the computing sciences, marked by increased educational and professional opportunities. Noting the implications of these opportunities for individual life chances and for social and economic developments, we explore demographic patterns in terms of varying representation in computing in the United States (U.S.). Using currently available data to delineate the demography of U.S. computing, the analysis points to deeply institutionalized and contextually embedded factors and relationships affecting educational and workforce participation and inclusion. Findings confirm that, despite growth in the number of computer science degrees awarded in the United States, the demographic diversity of degree recipients has been slow to change. Moreover, the U.S. advanced-degreed computing workforce is less diverse than workforce segments with lower educational credential requirements. Such findings are presented not merely relative to questions of numerical representations but also in terms of the sociocultural and institutional processes that determine participation and inclusion in computing.

摘要： This article describes the process and factors involved in creating a new bachelor's level education in computer engineering, including a specialization in chip design at the Technical University of Denmark to help meet the demand of the industry. We also provide an overview of the program's structural principles and concepts.

摘要： Noise pollution is a growing problem in urban areas, and it is important to study and evaluate its impact on human health and well-being. This work presents the design of a low-cost IoT model and implementation of two prototypes to collect noise level data in a specific area of the regional center of Chiriqui, at the Technological University of Panama that can be replicated to create a noise monitoring network. The prototypes were designed using Autodesk Fusion 360, and the data were stored in a MySQL database. Microsoft Excel and ArcGIS Pro were used to analyze the data, generate graphs, and display the information on maps. The results of the analysis can be used to develop strategies to reduce noise pollution and improve the quality of life in urban areas.

摘要： This article sheds light on the need for the computer science and the broader engineering communities to collaborate on taking a system engineering approach to artificial intelligence security and safety. I offer three recommendations to how to address this need.
