摘要： [新年寄语]每个民族都有自己的节日。在西方一些国家，圣诞节是最重要的节日，但是在中国，一年中最隆重、最盛大的节日非春节莫属了。这一天，忙碌了一年的人们无论身在何处，都会纷纷赶回家中，过一个团团圆圆、和和美美的新年。中国人过年的传统由来已久，年在中国也早已不再是一个节日那么简单，其中还寄予了很多传统、文化以及历史的因素。

摘要： 英国：圣诞节不许吃肉馅饼 在英国，法律规定圣诞节不可以吃肉馅饼。这在奥利弗·克伦威尔时期（17世纪）就成为法律。但是到了今天，连英国人自己每逢佳节都在“以身试法”，而圣诞节不能吃肉馅饼也被评选为“英国最奇葩的法规”。澳大利亚：周日下午勿穿粉色热裤 在澳大利亚的维多利亚州，法律规定女性在周日下午是不可以穿粉色热裤的。

摘要： 从前有一个名副其实的学生，他住在一间阁楼里，什么也没有。同时有一个名副其实的小商人，住在笫一层楼上，拥有整幢房子。一个小鬼就跟这个小商人住在一起，因为在这里，在每个圣诞节的前夕，他总能得到一盘麦片粥吃，里面还有一大块黄油！这个小商人能够供给这点东西，所以小鬼就住在他的店里。有一天晚上，学生从后门走进来，给自己买点蜡烛和干奶酪。他没有人为他跑腿，因此才亲自来买。他买到了他所需要的东西，也付了钱。

摘要： 圣诞节前夕接到一项任务，为一款市售热门小尺寸SUV设计一款圣诞节涂装，并实现成作品，将在圣诞期间发布。我作为协助，虽然没有跟进整个项目的全过程，但我参与了项目部分和最后拍摄。项目之初，我们就收集了关于这款车型的各种数据资料，与厂家紧密沟通。起初的改装方向是用最简单的方式做出最好的效果。虽然最终仅仅是对它的涂装和基础升级，但出来的效果，都出乎了大家的最初意料。

摘要： My daughter＇s birthday is January 2. Her due date was January 1. In fact, I went into labor on December 31,but she didn＇t show her little infant face until the evening of January 2. Her entrance came with quite a drum roll. In keeping with the tradition her difficult birth established, there has been a natural buildup to her birthday every year -- three mid-December birthdays in the family and then two important holidays： Christmas and New Year＇s Eve. So, I shouldn＇t have been surprised when my soon-to-be 4-year-old asked me this question： ＂When it＇s my birthday this year, Mommy, will I be a new year old？＂

摘要： 据《物流管理》2015年12月报道，每年感恩节、圣诞节，美国的快递公司都忙得不亦乐乎，其中相当比例的业务是退货服务。根据美国物料搬运协会的统计，节后北美市场上收到的退货商品总额接近200亿美元，相当丁北美平时一个季度的电商销售总额，而“退货率”一直是所有电商不愿公布的参数之一。

摘要： This paper examines the Halloween effect in special dividend announcements. We find that firms are more likely to announce special dividends at the end of a year, especially in the months of November and December. There is a Halloween effect in the announcements, but more importantly, there is a Christmas effect in the propensity and abnormal returns of special dividends. This paper provides initial evidence on the Christmas effect of special dividend payments. It links monthly effects in stock returns and corporate events to explain the likelihood of the occurrence of special dividend announcements. The results of this paper shed light on why corporate events are more likely to occur in some periods, but less likely to occur in others. (C) 2015 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
