China witnesses iron ore price recovery these days, due to the preparation rush before National Holiday. The spot iron ore price almost approaches USD90/ton, traders said. Indian Fe63.5% iron ore is quoted at USD88-90/ton, a USD10/ton rise against that in previous bottom level. The price rise is mainly attributed to steel mills＂ enthusiasm to purchase iron ore for the preparation of produc- tion during National Holiday, an industrial analyst disclosed. The iron ore piled at ports totals at 73.32 million tons during September t3-18, up by 150,000 tons over that in last week. Of the amount, the Indi- an iron ore is at 16.18 million tons, with the increase of 630,000 tons week-on-week, the Brazilian iron ore is at 19.9 million tons, down by 160,000 tons and the Australian is at 24.75 million tons, down by 300,000 million tons.
