摘要： Dorothy M. Skinner's interest in the study of crustaceans grew out of her experiences as a student and teaching assistant in the Experimental Invertebrate Zoology course at the Marine Biological Laboratory, Woods Hole, MA, Her early training in both biology and chemistry was instrumental in allowing her to pursue lines of research as diverse as control of molting and regeneration, structure of the crustacean integument, and characteristics of satellite DNAs throughout her career. Dorothy published a number of landmark papers in crustacean biology over the years, which served to inspire the work of numerous biologists. The breadth and depth of her contributions was made apparent in this symposium, in which eleven researchers presented their newest findings in the areas of satellite DNA, control of regeneration and molting, dynamics of muscle atrophy and reorganization, and structure and evolution of arthropod proteins.

摘要： The most economically important wood boring Crustacea belong to the isopod families Sphaeromatidae and Limnoriidae, both of which have been recently revised and a number of new species have been recognised. Other wood boring crustaceans have now been recognised from tropical mangrove sites. Limnoriids are found from temperate to tropical waters, but appear to be restricted to waters with salinities close to that of seawater. Wood-boring species of Sphaeroma on the other hand can tolerate extremely low salinities, but are restricted to sub-tropical and tropical waters. Approaches to borer control that have proved effective against teredinids (use of naturally durable timber, copper-chrome-arsenic or creosote treatment, surface coatings) have been found under certain circumstances to be ineffective against Limnoria and Sphaeroma. A number of additives to conventional preservatives have been tested, with some insecticides showing evidence of enhancing Limnoria control. The question of crustacean borer nutrition may hold the key to problems of their control. Sphaeromatid borers are capable of filter-feeding and thus may never ingest the treatments applied to wood. Limnoriids do ingest wood, but the role of wood degrading tunneling bacteria, and soft-rotting ascomycete and deuteromycete fungi occurring in the wood they digest remains to be fully elucidated. The source or sources of wood-degrading enzymes that permit digestion of wood particles requires further investigation. The microecology of borer burrows has an important bearing on the availability of nitrogen for borers. Further insights into the problems posed by these borers may be obtained with a better understanding of their ecology. A better testing protocol for preservatives has been developed as a result of knowledge of the natural vertical distribution of Sphaeroma. 摘要： 第一部分 放射射性脑损伤的动物模型及其早期发现与防治的研究 目的：建立小鼠放射性脑损伤模型，并用该模型研究活血化瘀中药及脑血管扩张药物对放射性脑损伤的治疗效果，以便为临床上早期发现和防治放射性脑损伤提供线索。观察鼻咽癌放疗后长期生存病人的记忆力下降与放射性脑损伤之间的关系，以研究将记忆力下降作为放射性脑损伤早期指标的可行性。 材料与方法：用2周龄的昆明小鼠作为实验动物，分试验组和对照组，用10MeE电子束照射。照射野和剂量：均为为单次照射，颈部30Gy，颈部和部分脑组织联合25Gy，全脑20Gy。观察指标：分跳台试验、迷宫试验和病理检查三项，检测的时间为照射后2、4、6、8周末。试验性治疗：用活血化瘀中药和脑益嗪，口服给药，剂量分别为24mg/Kg和27mg/Kg临床研究观察24例无复发存活时间超过5年的鼻咽癌病人记忆力下降与 放疗后生存时间及脑组织影像学改变之间的关系。 结果：1)照射后未治疗组2、4、6、8周末跳台和迷宫试验指数明显上升，与未照射的对组相比，差异有显著的统计学意义(p<0．05)，其中跳台试验的潜伏时间指标上升有非常显著的统计学意义(p<0．01)。2)中药治疗和脑益嗪治疗组跳台和迷宫试验指数明显改善，与未治疗组相比，差异有显著的统计学意义(p<0．05)，但仍然高于未照射组(p<0．05)。3) 病理研究显示试验组的急性放射反应在第2周末最严重，之后逐渐缓解，到第8周末仅残留部分软组织纤维化，在第6、8周末跳台和迷宫试验指数明显上升与放射性反应逐步缓解之间呈现一定程度的背离趋势；治疗组放射反应轻于未治疗组。4)鼻咽癌放疗后长期存活病人的记忆力水平与生存时间负相关(r=0．72，p<0．01)， 下降的程度与脑萎缩和脑软化的程度 成正比。 结论：1)智能下降是小鼠头颈部放疗后放射性脑损伤的早期指标。2)活血化瘀中药及脑血管扩张药物对小鼠放射性脑损伤有一定的疗效。3)记忆力测定可能有助于早期发现鼻咽癌病人放疗后严重的放射性脑损伤。 第二部分 一个新的放射生物学死亡-存活模型的理论研究 目的：建立一个新的细胞存活模型， 以便更加充分地考虑到细胞内部的代谢调节机制对射线照射后细胞存活率的影响。 模型及其基本思想：细胞受照射后发生死亡的过程可以分两步：第一步是射线作用于DNA双链，产生DNA双链断裂，可用线性-二次方模型来描述。第二步是由DNA双链断裂诱发形成各种生物效应，包括细胞死亡。这一过程可用一个随机序列来描述，在这个随机序列中引入细胞内部的代谢反应机制对细胞死亡的影响。将这两步结合起来，并考虑到不同剂量下射线对细胞代谢的抑制作用的不同， 即可发展一个新的细胞死亡-存 活模型。 初步结果：1)本模型提出应根据细胞本身代谢机制参与的不同区分不同的细胞死亡模式：第一种是主动性死亡，此模式是各种刺激因子诱发细胞内某些特定的代谢反应引起细胞自杀；第二种是由细胞内部的代谢活动被抑制直至衰竭后细胞结构被动崩解而引起的死亡，称之为被动性死亡。这与我们已经熟知的程序性细胞死亡和坏死的概念相对应。2)模型预测的细胞主动性死亡的剂量效应关系与文献中射线诱导凋亡的剂量效应 变化相吻合。3)模型预测的存活曲线与线性二次方理论比较： 中高剂量时和线性二次方曲线重合，而低剂量时呈现为与细胞放射敏感性等固有生物学特性有关的复杂形状。模拟计算和文献中的数据比较显示中高剂量时对试验数据的估计精度和线性二次方模型相似，而在低剂量条件下则能比线性二次方模型更加精确。4)模型把低剂量时存活曲线的复杂性解释为不同细胞主动性死亡能力的不同所致。 结论：本研究在考虑到细胞内部的代谢调节机制对射线诱导细胞死亡的影响基础上建立一个新的细胞存活模型，与文献中的数据吻合较好，初步支持其合理性。

摘要： 随着分子生物学及兽医学的不断发展，动物繁殖方面取得了丰硕成果。本文就当代生物学及兽医学在动物繁殖学上的问题作一简单介绍。1动物性周期、生殖过程、生殖系统的内分泌功能动物的性行为呈现一系列的周期性活动现象，称之为动物的性周期。已证明，动物的下丘脑、脑垂体、性腺、子宫系统在机体内发挥着统一的相互作用，按兴奋一抑制原则，自动调节机体功能活动。对于参加调节生殖过程的每一个环节的地位和作用依次如下：1．l中枢神经系统及丘脑下部下丘脑是通过基础的（固定的）与周期性（波浪式）的促性腺内分泌活动，保证把神经冲动转化为激素作用并控制垂体前叶的功能活动。1．2会作前叶垂体前叶的作用是合成分泌促性腺激素，即促卵泡素和促黄体素，控制性腺的生殖和分泌功能。回．3ti脾性腺的作用是产生性细胞和性激素，控制子宫的功能活动，也反馈控制下丘脑与脑垂体的功能活动以及抑控性腺本身的生殖过程。1．4子宫其作用是用来合成生物活性物质即前列腺素，通过前列腺素控制性腺的生殖功能。研究表明，在下丘脑、脑垂体、性腺、于它系统中存在着双重联系。子宫的控制靠激素，子宫主宰神经冲动之下，神经冲动是通过中枢神经产生对外部生态性欲刺激物（如视。听、触觉）起回答性反应。...

摘要： Le présent document décrit une méthode de routine pour le dénombrement, par comptage des colonies après incubation à 30 oC, des entérobactéries dans les produits destinés à la consommation humaine ou à l'alimentation *** présent document représente une simplification de la méthode de référence, NF ISO 7402, par l'utilisation d'une boîte par dilution et par l'absence de confirmation des colonies. Par ailleurs, la température de 30 oC a été retenue dans le cadre de la méthode de routine, le dénombrement étant effectué dans un but technologique, et seule la technique de dénombrement par comptage des colonies a été retenue (excluant la technique NPP).
