摘要： 在实地调研得出道路平均每车道通行能力随着车道数的增加而边际递减的基础上,参照流体力学的研究方法,得出考虑换道的车道交通流动力学模型.采用特征线分析法得到该模型的解析解.运用数学方法分析了边际递减的原因和递减的规律.并运用实测数据验证了数学解释的合理性,得出换道频率的增加是通行能力递减的主要原因.

摘要： Sternal dehiscence is an important complication of cardiac surgery. A simple mathematical analysis is described for determining the relative strength (S) of different types of sternal closure. This is based upon resolving the tensions within the segments of a sternal wire to derive a dehiscence force. The strength of the closure (S) is the ratio of the volume of sternum which the dehiscence force acts upon to the dehiscence force itself. The derived S values varied from 4.3 for a closure using 6 transverse wires to 11.4 for a closure using the Modified Technique. The analysis suggested that closures which redistribute the transverse force to act obliquely upon a greater volume of sternum, such as the Modified Technique, are less likely to fail.
