Specifies changes to be applied to the document entitled "American National Standard for Information Systems - Programming Language - COBOL, ANSI X3.23-1985, IS0 1989-1985", in order to include the Ianguage elements of the Intrinsic Function module and to correct typographical errors (indicated by the symbols (I' ) in the page number column). The changes add totally upward compatible language extensions to Standard COBOL except for the addition of the reserved word FUNCTION.
