摘要： Simplex is an optimization technique that, in a general sense, does not require the use of complex mathematical and statistical tools and can be very useful in the development of analytical methods. In this work, a tutorial reviewing the basic concepts, fundamental approach and a work guide are presented for those who contemplate simplex optimization as a tool to develop analytical methods. The characteristics and rules for applying the basic and modified simplex algorithms commonly used for optimization are also described. Some studies demonstrating the application of simplex optimization in analytical chemistry are discussed to illustrate the applicability of this technique. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. 摘要： This paper presents an open, personal, fresh approach to the future of Analytical Chemistry in the context of the deep changes Science and Technology are anticipated to experience. Its main aim is to challenge young analytical chemists because the future of our scientific discipline is in their hands. A description of not completely accurate overall conceptions of our discipline, both past and present, to be avoided is followed by a flexible, integral definition of Analytical Chemistry and its cornerstones (viz., aims and objectives, quality trade-offs, the third basic analytical reference, the information hierarchy, social responsibility, independent research, transfer of knowledge and technology, interfaces to other scientific-technical disciplines, and well-oriented education). The framework of our discipline in the coming years can be inferred from the description of the accurate general and specific paradigms taking into account the wrong, obsolete paradigms of the past. Finally, the three possible responses of analytical chemists to the proposed changes in our discipline are discussed.

摘要： Analysis of whiskey samples prepared by a green microextraction technique, dispersive liquid liquid microextraction (DLLME), before analysis by a qualitative gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC/MS) method, is described as a laboratory experiment for an upper division instrumental methods of analysis laboratory course. Here, aroma compounds in whiskey samples (n = 11) were extracted using ultrasound-assisted DLLME with chloroform (as extraction solvent). The chloroform extract was analyzed by GC/MS with data manipulation by AMDIS (automated mass spectral deconvolution and identification system) to allow for comparisons between whiskey samples. Aroma compounds commonly reported in the literature (furfural, isoamyl acetate, 5-methyl furfural, ethyl esters, phenylethyl alcohol, whiskeylactone, and vanillin) were tentatively identified based upon the match to the MS library. This unique laboratory allows students to engage in a real-world analysis of a high-value product and to explore the use of AMDIS to tentatively identify compounds and compare chromatographic profiles of various whiskey samples for identification of common and unique constituents. Students also use the literature to provide sensory information for these identified semivolatile compounds.

摘要： An editorial is presented in which the author discusses about term electronic health, which was coined for referring to the use of computers in healthcare and practitioners' communication with their patients. Topics discussed include use of electronic health record for improving quality of healthcare by evidence-based medicine, improvement in the prevention and monitoring of disease, and technological development in health care.

摘要： Research position expresses the leading features of personality's development process, reflects the universality of its relations with the surrounding world, initiates abilities to creative self-expression, self-development, determines the efficiency of cognitive activity, contributes to the transfer of knowledge, abilities, skills of research in any area of cognitive and practical activities. Therefore, this article is aimed at the discovery of the structure and content of the educational process of formation of senior pupils' research position. The leading method in the study of this problem is a modeling method, which allow present the structure and content of senior pupils' research position formation as the complete pedagogical process directed on formation in the unity and interconnection of all components of pupils' research position. The article presents the structure of pedagogical process of senior pupils' research position formation, consisting of diagnostic, project-targeted, content, operational-activity, technological and result -assessing units. Structural components of this process determine the goal-setting, comprehensive diagnostics, methods and forms of work, technological and didactic support.

摘要： For research of an opportunity forecasting of earthquakes and eruptions of mud volcanoes, monitoring of Rn-222, (and) Ra-226 in the springs and gryphones of the mud volcanoes and Rn-222, Rn-220 in the soil in the Taman Peninsula occasionally were carried out since 1995. Simultaneous measurements in two springs of the Western Caucasus and in the thermal spring of Southwest Turkey Rn-222 were started also. Simultaneous changes of Rn-222 concentration in water in Southwest Turkey and South Russia before regional earthquakes were obtained. Reduction of soil Rn-222 concentration in territory of mud volcanoes before occurrence of new gryphon was observed.
