摘要： An algebraic derivation of the Kruppa equations is presented. This derivation is much simpler and thus easier to understand than the conventional derivation based on projective geometry. Using the newly derived Kruppa equations, we further propose a new algorithm for determining a camera's intrinsic parameters. 摘要： We present and apply a new simulation/optimization approach for single- and multiple-planning period problems in groundwater remediation. Instead of the traditional control locations for contaminant concentrations, we use an L-infinity norm as a global measure of aquifer contamination (CMAX). We use response-surface constraints to represent CMAX within the optimization model. We compare the performance of formal mixed integer nonlinear programming and a genetic algorithm for several optimization scenarios.

摘要： This paper presents a method to obtain an image processing procedure by showing an original image and a goal image. There has been previous work concerning automatic acquisition of image processing procedures by combining subroutine packages. In our approach, we do not use any image processing subroutine packages, but use only hierarchical mathematical morphology procedures, i.e. erosion and dilation operators. We use genetic algorithms to search procedures, i.e. erosion and dilation operators. Utilizing a parallel searching function of genetic algorithms and introducing a concept of era, we construct hierarchical procedures of mathematical morphology. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. 摘要： We consider the eigenvalue problem in the max-plus algebra for matrices in {-infinity boolean OR R}(nxn) but with eigenvectors in R-n. The problem is relaxed to a linear optimization (LO) problem of which the dual problem is solved by finding a maximal average weight circuit in the graph of the matrix. The Floyd-Warshall procedure is used to find such a circuit. This procedure also provides an efficient algorithm for finding an eigenvector. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Inc. All rights reserved.

摘要： In this paper we present algorithms that compute certain local cohomology modules associated to ideals in a ring of polynomials containing the rational numbers. In particular, we are able to compute the local cohomological dimension of algebraic varieties in characteristic zero. Our approach is based on the theory of D-modules. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. 摘要： 该文首先全面总结了光学信息处理近几十年来所取得的重大进展,着重回顾了数字光学图象处理中的光学细胞逻辑列阵、光学数学形态学操作、光学并行布尔逻辑门、光学并行模糊逻辑门等方面的内容.然后对击中与否变换图象处理系统进行了研究,简化并改善了数学形态学击中与否变换图象代数的光学实现,对二值图象处理系统提出了简单的形态学图象代数及相应的光学体系结构,并对模糊逻辑的光学实现进行了研究.具体工作如下:一、对形态学击中与否变换进行了改进,提出两种新的光学实现方法并进行了实验验证.二、提出了数学形态定阶灰度腐蚀象代数学算法理论和相应的光学单通道的细胞逻辑阵列;三、提出用于二值图象处理的逻辑运算数学形态的新概念,和相应的细胞逻辑阵列;四、提出两种光学并行实现模糊逻辑图象处理的方法:一种是利用空间非线性编码和多重成象技术实现它;另一种是利用单个电子捕获器件来实现它.

摘要： 介绍了生产流水线上作业均衡分配问题（ＡＬＢ＿Ａｓｓｅｍｂｌｅ Ｌｉｎｅ Ｂａｌａｎｃｉｎｇ Ｐｒｏｂｌｅｍ） 的来源及其实际意义，给出了该问题基本的数学模型，并根据流水线实际存在的一些约束，对数学模型作了修正，归纳了求解网络组合最优化问题的常用方法，进而详细阐述了作者提出的优化算法，并通过应用实例。
