本综述聚焦于最近十年(2015~2024)虚拟现实(VR)技术在大学英语教学中的应用研究。通过对相关文献的综合分析,探讨了VR技术如何结合建构主义理论促进英语听说教学、在教学改革背景下的应用、对学习效率的影响、与传统教学方法的比较以及在促进英语教学中的作用。研究表明,VR技术为大学英语教学带来诸多积极影响,但也面临一些挑战。未来研究方向包括优化VR技术应用、与其他技术融合以及在不同教育条件下的推广等,旨在为教育领域相关研究与实践提供理论参考与实践指导。This review focuses on the application research of virtual reality (VR) technology in college English teaching in the recent ten years (2015~2024). Through comprehensive analysis of relevant literature, it explores how VR technology combines with constructivist theory to promote English listening and speaking teaching, its application in the context of teaching reform, the impact on learning efficiency, comparisons with traditional teaching methods, and its role in promoting English teaching. The research indicates that VR technology brings many positive effects to college English teaching, but also faces some challenges. Future research directions include optimizing the application of VR technology, integrating with other technologies, and promoting it under different educational conditions, aiming to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for related research and practice in the field of education.
